Mindful Floristry - Solar Festivals

Wildflowering Serenity

We were very honoured to be awarded funding by the National Lottery 'Community Fund' to run a year long programme of creative floristry sessions between March 2026 and February 2027. Each session has a different mindful focus, and offers opportunity to create a different floral/herbal/foliage piece. Check our book online page for dates and availability.

Heart Smart

Along with a group of other Wigan based VCFSEs, we were extremely excited to be awarded funding by Wigan Borough Community First and the PIE Hub, under their 'Cardiovascular and Diabetes Prevention' fund to run a six month programme of activities designed to help prevent cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Focusing on nutrition for health, movement and mobility, nervous system regulation, and positive mindset for health, we will support attendees to make informed healthy choices for improved heart health. MMA & Mindfulness for Teens

We were very excited to be awarded funding by ASDA Foundation, under their 'Bright Futures' fund to run programme of activities in summer 2026 designed to help teens keep active and stay mindful in the summer holiday break. Check our book online page for dates and availability - coming soon.

Harmony in Motion

Welcome to Harmony in Motion, a National Lottery Sport England funded wellbeing project. 

We're delighted to announce that Ataraxia for All has been awarded funding from Sport England to deliver Harmony in Motion, a new inclusive programme that brings movement and mindfulness to our local community.

Designed to support people of all ages and abilities, from older adults to young people, this projects aims to build community connection through accessible and welcoming physical and mental wellbeing activities. 

What's on offer..?

  • Resistance & bodyweight workouts for strength and stability (from November 2025 - including beginner elements of Yoga and Pilates from 2026)

  • Mindful canal walks and local litter-picks for connection, fresh air and civic pride

  • Sound healing, breathwork and meditation classes for mindfulness and deep relaxation

  • Courses in weight training for strength, and all-important lean muscle preservation

  • Masterclasses in sports therapy, and dance-fitness - something for everyone!

Although all sessions are FREE to attend, please be aware that bookings are essential for most of the sessions as places are strictly limited. Therefore please ensure that you book on if you wish to attend to avoid disappointment.
